The human behind the agents.

I did not come from a tech family or a fancy bootcamp. I found problem-solving addictive early, fed it with an internet connection, and never really stopped.

Portrait of Aniruddha Adak

“Born September 2003 in Dumra, Purba Medinipur. Raised on chai, curiosity and a stubborn belief that if something exists, I can learn to build it.”

the road so far

A timeline in true commits.

2014 – 2022

School years · Krishnaganj Krishi Silpa Vidyalaya

Classes five through twelve in Hogla, Purba Medinipur. Finished with 83% in Madhyamik and around 91% in Higher Secondary, plus a WBJEE rank of 10466 that paid for the next chapter.

Late 2022

B.Tech CSE begins · Budge Budge Institute of Technology

MAKAUT-affiliated campus near Kolkata. First-year grade point: 8.45. The college gave structure; the internet gave the playground.

2023

Full-stack era + first Google Cloud badges

Shipped MercatoLive and SmartYoga, earned Google Cloud Skills Boost certificates for Introduction to Generative AI and Introduction to Large Language Models, and started publishing on Medium.

2024

Hacktoberfest breakthrough · 200+ merged PRs

The year open source became a habit. Holopin badges, Product Hunt launches, SkillSphere and VocalScribe shipped, and writing moved to DEV where the audience actually lived.

2025

AI Agent Engineer identity + GitHub Foundations cert

Doubled Hacktoberfest with another 200+ PRs, certified on GitHub Foundations via Credly, completed Skillsoft NLP exams, and went all-in on agentic systems: LangGraph, CrewAI, RAG pipelines, MCP tooling.

2026

CareerZen flagship + agency mode

Led a four-person team building CareerZen (Gemini + Sarvam AI resume intelligence, Lighthouse 94). Crossed 354 externally merged pull requests including 118 in OpenClaw. Opened this personal AI agency.

the setup

How the work actually gets done.

💻

Agentic IDE first

Google Antigravity is the primary development environment: AI-native context across whole codebases, agent-driven bug discovery, AI-drafted fixes refined by hand.

🐛

The Ubuntu agent lab

A spare laptop runs Docker with Claude and local models around the clock — repo maintenance bots, doc updaters and experimenters that work while Kolkata sleeps.

🚀

Ship-on-push pipeline

GitHub for code, Vercel for instant deployments, Holopin for receipts. Every portfolio piece here went from commit to live URL in under a minute.

the road ahead

Goals on the record.

Public goals age better than private excuses. Here is what the next chapters are for.

2026

Graduate + 400 external merges

Finish the B.Tech strong, push open source contributions past four hundred externally merged pull requests, and take CareerZen to a public v2 with placement-cell partnerships.

2026 – 2027

Turn one-off agency projects into recurring agentic-automation retainers, and give the first conference talk on practical agent-harness engineering.

2027+

The personal superintelligence stack, productized

Package the research-crew, repo-janitor and writing-pipeline stack so any solo builder can run a one-person media and engineering house.

off the clock

Human mode.

Chai-driven development

Best debugging happens after the second cup. The famous coffee-machine infographic thread proved machines and caffeine belong together.

SoundCloud side quest

An old creative alias called Skillful mind still lives on SoundCloud. Every engineer needs an unrelated hobby that teaches taste.

📺

Daily AI news diet

55K+ posts on X since October 2024 tracking model releases. Reading the frontier every morning is half the job.
